You’re invited!
Join Hunger Free Vermont & the Department for Children for
the 6th annual 3SquaresVT Conference!
Save the date for July 17, 2025!
Join us virtually for a free, full day of workshops and sessions focused on 3SquaresVT—-the most effective anti-hunger program in the U.S.
Registration for the virtual day will open this spring, but be sure to save the date now!
Help us make this conference your conference! We want to know what you want to learn, and what ideas matter to you, so we can offer trainings, workshops, and conversations that will support your work. Please use this form to share your ideas–they can be fully formed or just a one word thought!

The Conference Theme:
Navigating Change with Hope
Change is coming fast, and what that means for the people in Vermont who rely on 3SquaresVT is not yet clear.
As federal threats to 3SquaresVT foreshadow troubling change, this conference is a space to gather in community, continue our learning, and crystalize our hope.
Our theme is about leading with the belief that a food-secure Vermont is possible–and then working together to make it a reality.
In times like these, hope is more than just optimism—it’s a necessity. Hope fuels action, and we can all gather together in hope, and in action.
Is this conference for me?
This conference is for you, whether you are an expert in 3SquaresVT or new to your learning! In the past, we’ve had attendees (and speakers!) join us from:
community action agencies,
area agencies on aging,
food shelves,
schools and universities,
health clinics and hospitals,
farms, farmers markets, food retailers
shelters, housing authorities,
veterans organizations,
childcare centers and more.
Conference Sessions
As always, conference sessions will offer a range of learning opportunities for those new to the world of 3SquaresVT and for our seasoned advocates.
We will have a blend of training, conversational panels, and workshops.
Check back here in late April/early May for an update on sessions we’re bringing to the conference!
